The National Reptile & Amphibian Advisory Council (NRAAC) is a not-for-profit educational organization, staffed and run by volunteers, dedicated to producing an annual symposium on laws, rules, and regulations regarding reptiles and amphibians at the local, state, national, and international levels.

Our goal is bringing together people interested in reptiles, amphibians, and the law, whether they are pet owners, breeders, stores, businesses, rescues, rehabiltators, educators, researchers, zoological institutions, herpetolgical organizations, or government agencies,to discuss the impact of law and regulation on the keeping, breeding, care, and conservation of reptiles and amphibians. To get involved, please join our working group on Facebook.

Sponsorship & Donations

Thank you for your interest and support in the National Reptile & Amphibian Advisory Council and our Reptile and Amphibian Law Symposium.

Until we have firm details on the plans and costs for our 2012 event, we will not be requesting financial donations or sponsorship. Other than volunteering for a direct role in the organization, the best donation you can offer currently would be to help spread the word about NRAAC and our Reptile and Amphibian Law Symposium, especially if you can add a button, banner, or widget to your web site. We appreciate your interest in supporting our event and ask that you please stop by again shortly.

The National Reptile & Amphibian Advisory Council would like to thank Jeff Barringer, Scott Solar, and Cindy Steinle for donating the use of photographs and images that appear on our web site.
